02.02.06 Player CW? Today it is exactly 2 years since this website was launched so I think its time for a long overdue update. Since September Ive gained a tag team partner, won my first championship and had the chance to learn from and share a lockerrom with some massive names in professional wrestling. I also had an absolute stinker in the midlands. September 24th was the Triple Threat match for ACW in Bletchley against Kid Regis & Kruiz. It was also the first and so far only showing of my white tights. The match was pretty good, got a good reaction from the crowd and Regis came out on top after he DDT'd Kruiz. 15th of October me and Kruiz wrestled to a draw in Luton for ACW's High Spirits show. The main point wasn't the result, but the fact that Kruiz and I formed The Players Club after giving him a £100000 cheque. 4th of November I made another Debut, this time for TBW (Total Brutality Wrestling) just outside of Wolverhampton, in a Hardcore Tag match with myself teaming with Tommy Stevens (who must be either afraid of, or allergic to soap) facing Ace Anderson and The Great Tsunami. And the match sucked. I felt a fair bit of the match was my fault and I really wasn't on top form, I could make loads of excuses as to why I wasn't at my best but they don't matter. I was a bit gutted as myself and Ace have been looking forward to a match between us for a while and it was shit, so sorry bro! 11th of November I wrestled for AWA-UK (The UK branch of the famed American Wrestling Association, made famous by the legendary Gagne family), just down the road from me in Ware in an 8 man tag match with Myself, Stevie Lynn, Kyle Kraze & Johnny Thrill being defeated by El Diablo Amarillo, Cameron Kraze, Sweet Steven Lee and Rocker Richards.I enjoyed that match, was different to be a fan favourite again but got to work with some top wrestlers. Also had the chance to speak to former ECW stars Steve Corino & The Sandman who were really helpful and gave us a lot of great advice. Also got a chance to catch up with Jade & Skye two of the top up & coming female wrestlers in the UK, who are also former dropkixx students like myself. November 18 it was ACW again this time in Marston Mortainye (sp) and it heralded the debut of myself and Kruiz as The Players Club. We faced Tommy Gunn & Sam Steel and Steve 'O' and Lord Humungus in a triple threat tag match. Kruiz pinned Tommy Gunt after a snapmare and "Baseball Bat like" kick to the back combo (Thanks to Jimmy Chamberlain for the baseball bat quote) then Kruiz pinned Steve 'O' and I teabagged Steve 'O' after a superkick. After the match we decided we werent finshed I Kruiz Kontrol'ed Steve 'O' threw Humungus out of the ring after he tryed to save Steve 'O' and then to cap it all Kruiz and I hit Steve 'O' with a hiptoss powerbomb. Must say that Steve 'O' and Lord Humungus really are two ACW/TWA trainees who show a lot of potential. Had December off, mainly to rest a nagging elbow injury and a lot of promotions don't hold shows in December as the public are more often than not, broke. January 28th myself and Kruiz were in yet another triple threat match this time it was in Bletchley and it was a tables match against Firepower & Los Pervitos for the ACW tag team championship. The Pervitos were eliminated first after Bull harley threw Tim through a table where a prone Mojo Pervito was lying. Then after Security member Choris Braddock handcuffed Bull to the ropes following a Kruiz superkick. Kruiz set Inferno up on a table and I hit a splash through Inferno and through the table to win the ACW tag team titles for the Players Club. We then went out and got our Partay on! Upcoming Ive got AWA-UK gain in Ware where I will be in a rumble alongside the likes of ECW & WWE superstar Tommy Dreamer, Joe Legend, Doug Williams & Jonny Storm. Thats on the 11th of February see http://www.awaunitedkingdom.com for more information. February 18th sees ACW visit Marstoin again where The Players Club will be teaming up with doa to Face Firepower and Samson. http://www.acwrestling.co.uk/ for more information. February 25th I will be making my singing debut in Romford!
Away from wrestling im now half way through my degree and my workload is now verging on mahooisve! Quite scary really, considering when I started this website I wasnt at University and now im halfway though a degree. Really looking forward to this Saturday where ill see Fozzy for the 3rd time! Saw them in November in Southend and this Saturday they are playing at the London Astoria. On the 11th of November while wrestling at the AWA-UK show I heard about the passing of Eddie Guererro. Like most wrestling fans I was a big fan of Eddie's and his death really was a tragedy and the whole wrestling world will miss him dearly. Thats it for Now Rich 13.09.05 ...Taking nothing for granted, blessing everything in my life. I actually updated this a couple of weeks ago, but for some reason it didnt save so hopefully this time it will. I've had a few shows here and there, and generally i've been enjoying the summer, spending most of it poolside, admiring chicks rocking their Bikinis! Made a couple more debut's recently, on June 14th I wrestled for EWF in Croydon in a tag match with fellow dropkixx alumni Jack King & The Kartel (Sha Samuels & Terry Frazier). Match was odd as its the first time in about 3 years that I worked as a face, crowd was good, and was good to see some old faces. June 30th was UKPW in Hackney where I took part in a 12 (13?) man clusterfuck/gauntlet/elimination match to decide the number one contender for the UKPW title. Also in the match were Azazeal, Country Boy, G-Man, Chris Botherway, Stiro, Sha Samuels, Terry Frazier, Kid Regis, Battalion, Tank Stevens and Ian Logan. I pinned Kid Regis after drilling him with a cut-throat suplex. Then things got really odd. I tagged in Battalion and Country Boy who got counted out leaving me the winner by default. Now i admit, I have cheated once or twice whilst wrestling but even I didn't want to win in that way. After Ethan Hayze and Chris Wyld's title match I went to congratulate Ethan on a hard fought victory but accidently slapped him and also accidently stomped and hit him a bit more, until Chris Wyld who I had asked to assist me in picking up Ethan decided he would not help me, allowing Ethan to clothesline me. Then they both shook hands. I got hit just for trying to be a good sport. Some people eh! July 2nd saw my 23rd Birthday roll around and also I took part in a Survivor Series style tag match for ACW in Aylesbury which where I was partnered by Rick Vallient, Tommy Gunn & Matt Naylor and we took on Kid regis, Inferno, Fury and Seb Drea. After the rest of my team got eliminated it was down to me to try to take on two men, well Kid Regis and Inferno, single handedly, something I tried my very best with but it took them double teaming me with a top rope Hart Attack to pin me and win the match. I did manage to pin Fury following a Kruiz Kontrol though. After the show Sai, Craig and Myself went to Craig's and got quite drunk and watched some wrestling tapes. Students of the game, or just a bunch of nerds, you decide! Was quiet then Until August 14th where I made my debut for Chapman promotions in Ware in a Rumble. Other names in the rumble included Joe Legend, Jonny Storm, Nikita & Darren Burridge. I got eliminated by Hugh Mungus. Saturday 20th of August saw me in Tag Team action yet again for ACW in Bletchley where I teamed with Tommy Gunn and faced LXW members Samson and Inferno. I swear Tommy Gunn must be a jinx as I lost, yet again. Im still to chalk one up in the win column for ACW, thats not cool. Also that night Kruiz came out of retiremnt after 2 years to face Kid Regis. Me and Kid Regis now take training on sundays at ACW's Wrestling Academy on Princes Way, Bletchley between 11-1 and so far we have had Ashe from the New Breed, Bull Harley, Kruiz, Shabbazz and up and coming female star Skye visit, so you never know who may be there! I think thats it from wrestling news, real world im back at uni on October 3rd and ive had a really awesome summer, worked a bit, wrestled a bit, some bad shit and heartbreak, but happily the good has far, far outweighed the bad. Got to give a shout (see I am cool) to Pete, who has been through some tough times recently. Dont worry man, like I said; tough times don't last tough people do. Thanks to "my biggest fan" from my guestbook, this is still my site but im just lazy as hell when it come to updating it! Before I got upcoming im in Bletchley again for ACW in a 3 way number 1 contenders match for the ACW heavyweight title on September 24th. See http://www.acwrestling.co.uk for more details. Friday September 30th im in Hackney for UKPW against Ethan Hayze for the UKPW title, details at http://www.ukpw.com. October 15th sees me in Luton again for ACW, check the ACW site for more details. Then in November Ive got a couple lined up but have no exact details yet. Adam Mumford has left RBW, hopefully the new owner Ron Sands, can repair the damage that little prick did to RBW and try to salavage the company. I wish Ron the best of luck, and from the little I have spoken to him Ron seems like a really sound guy who has a genuine passion for wrestling, and again I hope he acheives his goal of turning RBW's fortunes around. I should be putting more pictures up soon. When i say soon, I mean when I can be bothered. Email me if you read this, would be interesting to know if anyone does actually read my gibberish! Rich.
09.06.05 So much to say, so little time for me to explain..... Wow nearly five months since an update, a lot has gone on. Here goes nothing. I made my debut for SBW (Sliced Bread Wrestling) on the 29th of January in their Rumble, then I did the ring announcing for RBW on two shows on the 5th of February and 5th of March, to be honest I really didn't enjoy being an announcer as that is not why I got into the wrestling business, just because I can string a sentence together comfortably and remember the names of wrestlers does not make me an announcer. Although judging by my abililites I am a better announcer than a lot of the idiots I have had to endure.
In April (16th) I made another debut, this time for ACW (Anglican Championship Wrestling) at their show in Luton where I took an and was defeated by Samson. Match was ok, felt a bit rusty as this was my first competitive match since november, the crowd was awesome, the venue sold out thanks to a ton of publicity and promoting ACW did and the crowd really hated me. But to be honest its Luton so the feeling is mutual! On April 29th I returned to UKPW at their night of champions show in Holbury looking to get into the championship match by wining the rumble. Sadly that didnt happen thanks to a double team from Jag Chana and Ethan Hayze. It did take the tallest guy in the rumble and the eventual winner to double team me out but that was little consolation, added to the fact that I earlier had been defeated by the 25+ stone Country Boy made my return to UKPW less than succesful. May 7th saw me return to ACW and i wrestled another Giant by the name of Staxx in Bletchley. His massive girth and man gunt (plus some rather unfair comments from some dirty chav scum at ringside) were the desciding factors in defeating me! May 29th I made my debut for FWF in their debut show in Portsmouth. I wrestled a four way elimination match against ACW's Inferno and 4FW's Dean Christ and Ashton Brown. Considering it was FWF's first show it was awesome, the ring was fantastic, great to wrestle in, the venue was a school that is better than a lot of the venues in the country and the whole set up was very professional. The match went really well, one of the better matches ive had in a long time, I eliminated Inferno with a pildriver but while celebrating eliminating Inferno I walked right into a T-Gimmick double tem from Ashton brown and Dean Christ to be eliminated. The only downside about the FWF show was the turnout they only got 40-50 in but im sure on their next show they will easily bring in more fans. Ive finished University now until October so ive got a long summer of partying, wrestling and if there is time working planned. My last exams went ok at best but hopefully my average grade will be enough to get me into my second year. Im now trying to train a bit moire often than I did as I have got incredibly lazy with it and it shows, granted Ive never had the best look about but by my own admission I look like the shits physically at the moment, so Im doing a lot of fitness work and using weights whenever I get the chance. Thats the stuff that I want people to know about, at the moment ive got a few things away from the ring that im trying to sort out, if you know me chances are you know why im a bit down at the minute but ill cope, It'll be alright! Upcoming I should be making my debut for EWF at thir show in Croydon on the 14th of June and ill be wrestling for UKPW at their show in Hackney on the 24th of June, ill be doing the Holiday Camps for Rebel Pro Wrestling in Yarmouth over the summer, Ive got some shows lined up with ACW and also some other shows that are still in the pipeline. Thats about it. Thanks for reading Rich
15.01.05 New Year, New Challenges, Fresh Starts I know I know its been over three months since I updated this thing, but ive been busy with Uni, then Xmas popped up and then I got busy with Uni again, hell its not as if anyone reads this right? The last few months have mainly been dominated with my Uni work, so sadly wqrestling took a back seat throughout November and December, wrestled just the once (I think) that was against Kid Romeo/Regis- he has changed his name incidently- in Luton in a charity show for RBW. Great venue, possibly one of the best ive ever wrestled in, seemed tailor made for wrestling, someone told me it used to stage a lot of boxing events there, real shame about that small crowd especially as it was a charity show. Match went ok, realised how out of shape I was though, now im eating better and going to the gym on at least a semi regular basis! Went up to Coventry to watch FWA British Uprising 3 in November, the Sky Dome is enormous, good nights wrestling, really enjoyed the 3 way opener between Spud, Aviv Mayaan and The Gift Ross Jordan, very fast paced and exciting match. Also sat in the crowd for RBW's event in Fichley, good card which featured a no.1 contenders match for the weltwerweight championship and the debut of Anarchist Doug Williams in a good match against Jorge Castano. While I enjoyed the event it reminded me how much I hate just watching wretling, and how much I need to be competing....... On the upcoming front, sadly nothing in concrete at the moment, may have a few coming in but nothing is certain. Oh yeah and the big update/overhaul is coming just got to sort out the details. Thats about it, get off my property you ignorant oiks... Rich
28.10.04 Its been a long time (about 2 months) since I last updated my website or did any sort of commentary, so I thought I had better do a new one! Main reason behind not updating the siute has been that I have started Uni and my time now is pretty much spent studying and when im not studying working! Im now studying a degree in English and Education Studies which will hopefully lead onto me qualifing as a teacher! Granted that will be in four years time but it now seems that I have some sort of goal in my life lol. I got another set of wrestling gear through the other day, its black with pink and silver design on it, very tacky, but thats the way I like it, should be adding a pic of me wearing it soon, along with some other pics. The site will soon be getting a fairly big overhaul as handam productions (I think) will be doing some bits for me so that will be cool. Wrestling wise I wrestled Kid Romeo twice that last couple of months, In Ampthill, Beds and last Saturday in my hometown of Hitchin, where I wrestled under a slightly different "Rich/Arrogant Kid gimmick". Both matches went ok, the Hitchin one we both tried our best to well and truely turn the match into a clusterfuck, but it turned out alright on the night. Upcoming dates, I dont think I have any definates, may be on the RBW show in Hemel Hemptead on the 6th of November but other than that no-one wants me :-( Anyway, thats your lot from me at the moment. And remember this: "I'm Better than you" Smell you later Rich
27.08.04 To Infinity and Beyond!??! A record breakingly short period of time between updates but a fair bit has happened since the 2nd! Main bit of news is that I got into Uni! I recieved my A Level resuults last week, bit dissappointed with them at first as they were quite a bit lower than I expected, despite working really hard at them, but the main thing is I passed and ill begin an Education Studies and English Degree very soon. On the wrestling front I wrestled Kid Romeo at Vauxhall Holiday camp for the 409987th time lol. Pretty good match, crowd were really into it (no doubt as its the middle of the school holidays, busiest time of the year) and this time Romeo didnt try to decaptiate himself on a lighting rig. Sad news to report in that my former head of security Corey Davis and tag team partner Big update to the site this month with more pictures added, more links added, and an updated biography! Wow thats a lot lol. Added a new move to my "arsenal" - the Cut-Throat Suplex. I saw Mark Briscoe do it on a CZW show and decided I liked it and lo and behold there it is. Currently trying to decide if I should buy a new set of wrestling tights, but as im off to Uni soon I figure I should save my money, rest assured if I do it will be an absolute monstrosity. Upcoming dates so far are the 17th of September, possibly one at the end of september and a couple in early October, again there is a possibilty of some with RBW in various places in Herts in October. Thats about it also please visit Urbandictionary.com, very funny site, in particular "Tony Danza"!!!!! Adios Rich
02.08.04 The Mind/Honesty/Loyalty?? Strange title for my commenatry but im feeling strange as I write it... Its just under two weeks until I get my exam results and I wouldnt say im nervous, more apprehensive about them, my mind is really beginning to wander in regards to my results and where it will leave me. The fact that I have no control now over them freaks me out a little but now time will tell. Another thing bothering me at the moment is honesty and loyalty, or more accurately a lack of it amongst people around me. Surely it is a lot easier to come to someone when you have a problem rather than pass it down the grapevine to pass the buck and avoid confrontation. I realise the past paragraph may be hypocritical but I had to get it off my chest, sometimes I wish people could be honest with me....... Anyway away from the ramblings. On a lighter note it was my 22nd birthday (exactly a month ago today!!) and I went away with a few friends and my girlfriend for the weekend in Newquay, it was Ok but I hate camping with a passion and got sunstroke! Still it was an experience! Wrestling wise I was at the Camp again and Wrestled two guys from up north- The Pegasus Brothers, good wrestlers and had pretty good matches with them also tagged up with Ghloom again that night. RBW has now split into two seperate entities, Looking ahead ill be at Vauxhall Holiday camp again on August 20th, always a good atmosphere at holiday camps, captive audiences rule, lol! I don't know why its is, but recently Ive not been feeling myself. Instead of being happy and chilled out Ive found myself getting irritated by the slightest things and having real mood swings, its strange ive just not been me recently..... I should go, its late and i need some sleep Until Next time, your hero Rich PS Sorry about any typos its 3am as I write this
29.06.04 Finally.......... I say finally as my exams have finally ended! No more stressing if ive done enough revision, if I know what Shakespeare and David Hare's messages were in their stories and finally back to having a normal day off each week! (Well not really as Im doing the Holiday Camps again!) As I just mentioned Im back doing the holiday camp (Vauxhall in Yarmouth) for Rebel Wrestling, wrestled twice that last few weeks, wrestled former WAW Champion Bash for the first time since last year and the first time with a ceiling high enough to do anything under, as opposed to running head first into a ceiling rig *Cough Kid Romeo Cough*.(also Bash drilling me with a Michinoku Driver- OUCH!). Had a couple of good matches, but unfortunatly hurt my elbow (Same one I had a lot of problems with last year..) but never mind ill soldier on! Also myself and Corey Davis accompanied Evan Gallows to the ring for his RBW 'Next Generation' contest with Dave Maverick. Nice solid match, with both guys putting a ton of effort in, with Evan getting the win with an awesome looking Diamond Cutter. Looking forward to returning to training on July 11th, mainly because ive got a bit lardy as ive not been training or to the gym all month! And as I really want to learn more, now college is out of the way I want to become as competant and consitant as I can in the ring as Im finding a lot of my matches very boring and increasingly sloppy. Back in the real world it was my Girlfriends 20th Birthday yesterday, went out for a nice meal and had a nice quiet night in! (Aww, as someone once said, a nice side of Rich 'N Famous.) On the subject of Birthdays its my 22nd this Friday (2nd of July), im having a weekend away with a few friends and Cat so that should be a laugh. On the bookings front ill be at Vauxhall Holiday camp a few times this month, definatly July 9th possibly more not sure yet! Thats about it for the time being, no doubt ill remember some stupid anecdote or tale from during the month, but Ill add that someother time! Thanks for reading and Goodnight Vienna (damn Measure for Measure)! Rich
08.06.04 Conard! Shall I???!!! Damn PC, I had updated this on sunday but my high level of retardness caused me not to save it! But hey nevermind, on with the commentary! Im now well into my exams having sat two Literature and one Language paper of my English A Level, didnt think they went too well but fingers crossed! Now half way into the exams im hoping I do reallly well in the next and final three. Wrestling wise ive been quite busy with RBW starting with the 15th of May where I unveiled my Security team (Famous Agent Group Security or F.A.G.S for short) and beat down Stu Supreme (subbing for an injured Kid Romeo, more on that later on) until Rainz made the save setting up a match the following week in Hitchin (my hometown!) The following week me and the F.A.G.S (Corey Davis, Evan Swallows and some bird called Monica) rolled into Hitchin along with Then I was up in New tights arrived early in the month, really happy with them, ill add pics of me wearing them at some point! Ashe of the New Beed has his own website, check it out in the links section! Bookings wise only got the one coming up in concrete as im not sure when and how much time off work I can get! But Im at Vauxhall Holiday Camp in Final wrestling update I want to wish one my good friends both in and out of the wrestling world, Kid Romeo a speedy recovery from an unfortunate injury sustained at the start of the moth, that has kept him out of action for a short while. Away from the ring, its the same old same old, apart from the fact Ive been asked to be best man at a friends wedding next year. Great news enough, but the best part is its in The Maldives! Thats about all I can think of at the moment so until next time: Its Green for GO! and im Gone Rich
26.04.04 When Will I Be Famous? Wow a month since I crashed my car and last updated!! Anyway, not going to go into the promised story of how, what, why and when i got into wrestling, thats for another time, when im not so tired or busy!! Anyway, the last month has been really busy Started by being a special guest referee for RBW in a London Vs Nottingham trainee match, which was a lot of fun, and both teams did really well, with team London coming out on top, thanks to a little help from yours truely. After that I wrestled my longtime rival (--Kayfabe alert-- and one of my best friends) Kid Romeo/Regis again for RBW in Aside from wrestling my A-Level exams are a month away so im really starting to get nervous about those, I think I should be ok apart from one of my literature exams, where I have had to read the worst book ever! (Hard Times by Charles Dickens btw) Got few bookings coming up for RBW: Sat May 22nd Hitchin (my home town!) Also im doing a 5 Day festival in Have fun and dont eat yellow snow! Rich
25.03.04 Luck? Now originally I had intended to talk about how and why I got involved in wrestling. However, recent events have made me think more about other, more important things. Last night after taking my girlfriend home I crashed my car, rolling it twice and totally writing it off. Luckily I was the only person in the car at the time. After calling 999 and being taken away to hospital in an Ambulance (lights and the full works) I was checked out and was told that I had not broken any bones and had only severly bruised my hand after the car rolled on it.l Now the part that made me think about if it was luck or not is that I was told by the Police and Ambulance crew that most crashes on the road I was on are fatal, and all I recieved was a swollen hand. Since then I have been thinking so much into this, even believing myslef to be immortal. But im not immortal, just very very lucky...... Until next time Rich
03.03.04 Site Launched I'll hopefully have time to do some kind of commentary in the next few days, but in the meantime, welcome to Rich 'N Famous website!
